About Jim Neilas

Jim Neilas is a real estate professional with more than two decades of experience in the industry. He has been involved in various high-profile real estate projects, including acquisitions, developments, and financings in both commercial and residential sectors.

Jim received a BA Honors from York University in 1995 and went on to complete a law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998. He was called to the bar by the Law Society of Ontario in 2000 and has maintained his status as a member in good standing since then.

After working as the VP of Financing for a mid-sized real estate company, Jim decided to start his own company in 2004. He founded Neilas Inc., a real estate development company located in Toronto. Neilas Inc. aimed to provide small-scale, high-quality boutique condos, which were known for their unique design and innovative approach to urban development.

Under Jim's leadership, Neilas Inc. completed its first significant development project in 2005, the CUBE Lofts in the Little Italy neighborhood of Toronto. The project received a lot of positive attention from both the public and the media, establishing Neilas Inc. as a rising star in the Toronto real estate scene.

In 2010, Neilas Inc. completed another successful development project, Stage East Lofts, in Toronto's Leslieville neighborhood.

In 2016, Jim decided to rebrand the company as Storey Living and expand into the rental market. Storey Living's focus is now on high-quality rental units, earning a reputation for setting the standard for luxury design. With Jim's expertise and vision, Storey Living has seen continued success.
